It seems to me antithetical to turn the wholly subjective practice of contemplating one’s own mind and the ineffable into an objective, rational subject to be theorised about at arm’s length. Indeed, I would suggest that any objective discussion would soon degenerate into a semantic quagmire and remain trapped in an impenetrable bubble of theory and intellect.
